Ricardo Van Steen

A visual artist, designer and photographer, Ricardo van Steen is a figure whose career is characterized by a fluid transit between different fields of creation, articulating art, design and culture with density and coherence. With a keen eye and rigorous aesthetic sense, he began his career in advertising art direction and, over the years, migrated to more authorial practices, where he investigates how objects, images and signs communicate identity and experience. In the field of contemporary furniture, he has stood out for developing pieces that combine artisanal gestures with authorial constructive thinking, pushing the boundaries between the utilitarian and the symbolic. His multifaceted production reflects a deep understanding of creation as an expanded field - where design is not only a formal solution, but also a critical and cultural enunciation. At a time when authenticity and personal repertoire are once again at the center of aesthetic discussions, Van Steen is asserting himself as an author with his own language.

Working on different programs and scales since 2011, the office Archi.lab - Lab.o develops solutions for the residential, commercial and corporate segments. With a contemporary perspective and a passion for exploring, she also works in curating, branding and designing objects and furniture.

Henrique Steyer

Henrique Steyer is an architect, urban planner, advertising executive and designer, with a multidisciplinary background that is reflected in the breadth and originality of his work. A specialist in advertising image, he also has a postgraduate degree in design from the Politecnico di Milano - a combination that reinforces his strategic and aesthetic work on different fronts of contemporary design. Author of the books "Wow! Design, emotion and experience" and "Dicas de décor com Touché", Henrique is recognized for his ability to unite concept, emotion and style in residential and commercial projects throughout Brazil, as well as in cities such as Miami, Lisbon and destinations in Uruguay. As a designer, Steyer designs collections ranging from furniture and lamps to rugs, jewelry and beachwear, always in collaboration with major brands and companies in the market. He is a constant presence on the international scene: he has represented Brazil at Milan Design Week on more than six occasions, bringing a sophisticated and daring Brazilian identity to the global stage.

Flipê is an interdisciplinary creative studio of Architecture and Design, committed to creating experiences in space on different scales. Centered on architecture in dialogue with design and scenography, its main purpose is to create quality atmospheres for experience. For Flipê; "Architecture, beyond the profession, is the fundamental lens through which we perceive the world, from the general features of the macro to the smallest details". Always researching, the São Paulo-based firm's production permeates several areas and is active in the worlds of architecture, interiors, furniture and object design, set design and photography, explored both at @flipearquitetura and @flipedsn. The creatives behind the products, Gabriela Mestriner and Natalia Minas, were named Forbes under 30 by Forbes magazine in 2022, as part of the brightest entrepreneurs and creators under 30 in Brazil and share more about their trajectory in the third season of Insight, available on Globoplay.
